We remove small cores of soil from the lawn to relieve compaction, then overseed into the resulting holes – giving new grass seed direct contact with loosened soil and dramatically improving germination rates. The combination of aeration and overseeding in fall produces noticeably thicker turf the following spring.
Spring Granular Aeration uses a granular soil amendment applied across the lawn surface that breaks down over time and helps loosen compacted soil without the mechanical process. It's a lower-intensity option that works well for lawns that don't need full core aeration or as a complement to the fall program in early spring, improving nutrient absorption ahead of the growing season.
